Convert Characters to Curves

Outlines font text in PDF to vector paths in DXF output
Default: Off
If there is text in the PDF file which has not already been converted to curves (plotted), pdf2cad will accurately reproduce it as editable text (MTEXT) in the DXF file. In some case, you may want to outline the embedded fonts during conversion, so that the text is represented using vector paths (a graphical representation of the text).
When to use this feature:
If the PDF text uses a non-standard font/character encoding that pdf2cad cannot map correctly. When this is the case, the wrong characters may be rendered in the DXF file. Select "Convert characters to curves" if your PDF file uses Asian, Arabic or Hebrew fonts, or special CAD pattern fill fonts. Note: you can specify that pdf2cad outline specific fonts during conversion while maintaining the other fonts as text. See the Advanced Options section for details.
If the file references a font that is not be available in your target application, Use "Convert characters to curves" to ensure WYSIWYG rendering.
You should use outline fonts if your target application cannot handle font-based text.
You may want to use outline text to prevent users from editing or searching text information.
Caution: Using this option usually increases file size and prevents editing or searching.
